Major victory achieved for survivors

Dear Supporters of Nate's Mission,

We hope this message finds you well, as we have an urgent and exciting update to share. Thanks to your unwavering support and dedication to our cause, we've achieved a significant breakthrough in our fight for justice.

After over two years of relentless advocacy, we successfully challenged the Wisconsin Attorney General to take a bold step. Last month, the Wisconsin DOJ filed a motion in Federal Bankruptcy Court to unseal hundreds of pages of secret abuse reports concealed within the Milwaukee Archdiocese Bankruptcy

These concealed documents hold the key to uncovering the truth and exposing the criminal and civil violations of state law, including the fraudulent transfer of close to $60 million by then Archbishop (now Cardinal) Timothy Dolan. This transfer was intended to prevent the court from ordering the archdiocese to compensate victims of abuse. Even more importantly, the sealed documents contain direct evidence of over 10,000 incidents of abuse by close to 300 Catholic clergy, teachers, and volunteers.

This victory represents a pivotal moment in our ongoing fight to bring accountability and closure to survivors of abuse and to ensure that justice prevails. However, our work is far from over, and the road ahead is filled with challenges and expenses.

To seize this opportunity for justice and to support the survivors who have waited for far too long, we urgently need your financial assistance. Every dollar you contribute will be instrumental in our efforts to:

  1. Investigate and analyze the unsealed documents thoroughly.

  2. Pursue legal avenues to hold those responsible accountable.

  3. Provide support and counseling to survivors who have suffered for years.

  4. Raise awareness and advocate for changes in legislation to prevent future abuses.

The Milwaukee Archdiocese lawyers have already begun attacking Nate’s Mission and the Wisconsin DOJ, doubling down on calling Attorney General Josh Kaul an anti-Catholic bigot and again, attempting to intimidate and threaten us into silence.

Your generosity has been the driving force behind our achievements so far, and we are immensely grateful for your continued support. Together, we can ensure that the truth comes to light, and justice prevails for survivors of abuse within the Milwaukee Archdiocese and the state of Wisconsin.

Please consider making a generous donation today to help us capitalize on this historic opportunity. No contribution is too small, and every dollar counts. You can make a difference.

Thank you for standing with us in this crucial moment. Together, we can pave the way for justice and healing.

With heartfelt gratitude,
The Nate's Mission Team
